A gatecrasher broke into House Speaker Nancy Pelosi's San Francisco home early Friday morning

Attack on Nancy Pelosi’s Husband

 "brutally attacked" her better half, Paul Pelosi, who is recuperating at a nearby medical clinic.

San Francisco Police Boss William Scott let correspondents know that officials who answered the Pelosi home at 2:27a.m. experienced a grown-up male and Mr. Pelosi "both holding a sledge."

The suspect, who police have distinguished as 42-year-old David Depape, "pulled the mallet away from Mr. Pelosi and savagely attacked him with it."

"Our officials quickly handled the suspect, incapacitated him, arrested him, mentioned crisis reinforcement, and delivered clinical guide,"

 Scott said, adding both Depape and Pelosi were shipped to a nearby medical clinic for therapy.

A Friday morning proclamation from Speaker Pelosi's office said Mr. Pelosi is "getting fantastic clinical consideration and is supposed to make a full recuperation."

Pelosi, who is second in line to the administration after the VP, was not at home at the hour of the break-in and assault.
